There's something luxurious about staying home.

(The definition of Lifestyle Newborn Photography)

• Soft light, warm blankets, unposed cuddles--

The heart of every newborn lifestyle session I shoot here in the Charlotte area. No studio, no stiff setups, just your family soaking in these first sleepy days together, right where you're most comfortable.
Here's everything to know before we get started.

No Need To Clean Your Home

No, Really.

I'm not photographing your kitchen counters — I'm photographing you. A little laundry on the chair or bottles on the nightstand won't show up in frame. Let go of the pressure and just be present with your baby.

Can Our Pets Be In The Photos?

It's a Yes!

Your dog curled up by the bassinet or your cat perched on the arm of the couch is part of your family's story too. Bring them into the session.

What Should We Wear?

Comfort is key to classic beautiful photos!

New Moms look beautiful in a long, flowing dress (go barefoot), you're home!
Dad? SRSLY. Whatever he's comfortable in.
For the baby. Keep it simple and classic: a white onesie is timeless and lets the focus stay on those tiny features.

When To Schedule?

Ideally, we'll shoot 6–10 days after birth, when babies are still curly and sleepy. But if that window passes, don't stress — anytime up to 2 months works beautifully too. These sessions are about documenting real family snuggles, not chasing a perfect deadline.

Would you like to add on a Mini-Maternity Session?

Right now it's half off when booked alongside a full Newborn Session!

Ideal timing is 36-38 weeks.
