Do you Offer Mini-Family Sessions?

I rarely offer mini sessions. I prefer to spend a few minutes first making sure we all get to know each other and especially helping children become comfortable in the location and with my camera gear! Trust me, taking the extra time to capture these family moments will result in photos you'll be thrilled with for years to come.

Ideas for Family Outfits?

I love bright bold colors! Stay away from too many patterns instead feature one person in the group with a patterned outfit then have everyone else use those colors to coordinate. Deeper jewel tones in the autumn are awesome. While lighter pastels win in the spring shots. And a rule of thumb is to have your group thinking about 2 mellow colors with a 3rd pop of color. And think in LAYERS. Some in shorts, Some in Jeans. Someone in a dress or skirt. Jackets, Scarves. Boots. All help to give your group portraits a little interest in the shot!

Do you Offer Large Multi-Generational Family Portrait Sessions during the Holidays?

YES! I shoot Family Reunions and Large Family groups all year long. HOWEVER... If you need large family group photos during the week of Thanksgiving or Near Christmas please book early, these dates fill up first. If you have a family event (eg. 50th wedding anniversary or 80th birthday) I also offer a package with event coverage AND large group photos included.
